How Much Does 5000 Grafts Hair Transplant Cost ?

How Many Hair is 5000 Grafts?
Hair quantity that can be reached by 5000 grafts is individual for every patient. A single graft can be of 1 to 5 hair. Total graft/hair number is important to restore the hairless areas. The bigger rate is the more are can be restored. Here are details of 4500 grafts that were transplanted to our patient.
- Single Graft : 500 (500 x 1 hair = 500 )
- Double Graft : 2000 ( 2000 x 2 hair = 4000)
- Multiple Graft : 1900 ( 1900 x 3 hair =5700)

Can 5000 Grafts Be Transplanted in One Session?
Many patients want the operation to be completed in 1 day. However, 5000 grafts is a very big number for a single session. The time required for the extraction and transplantation of 5000 grafts in a day is at least 12-15 hours. The risk of losing grafts is very high. The sooner the grafts are transplanted, the higher the success rate will be. The long procedure is also tiring for medical staff and the patient. Therefore, it is better to divide the surgery into two days at least. The ideal period for 5000 grafts transplant will be 2-3 days.
